As we are a Church of England Primary School, Religious Education is a core subject within our curriculum. We are dedicated to providing high quality RE teaching and learning opportunities to reflect the importance of RE within our school.
 
Our curriculum is based around the 'Understanding Christianity' programme, following guidance from Rochester Diocese. Each year group has a range of topics to cover within Christianity, as well as units of learning about other faiths.
 
Throughout RE lessons, we aim to provide children with opportunities to make links between what they have learnt and their own behaviours. Children learn about the beliefs of others, developing understanding and respect for people of other cultures and faiths, and transfer this into their day-to-day lives.
